SIGCSE is a Computer Science Education conference that I attend almost every year. This year's SIGCSE was in Milwaukee from March 10 to 13. The timing corresponded with Tom's Spring Break, so he joined me. He loved it, in fact he had such a good time he decided to minor in Computer Science. He enjoyed the exhibits and he also went to several talks. The first photo below shows us at the conference reception (he's not really taller than me). The second photo shows what the SIGCSE exhibits look like.
Besides SIGCSE we enjoyed exploring Milwaukee a little together. Plus one morning Tom discovered that a band he loves, Flogging Molly, was performing near Marquette so one night we walked up there and he was able to go to a great concert.
